Staying here while enjoying the thermal pools was a highlight of our trip. Our room had a wonderful view of the river, which was fantastic, even though it lacked furniture, but we quickly improvised with some chairs and a table. Breakfast was average, but we loved the outdoor areas and the gorgeous garden, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby attractions, like the Roman Bridge and the Botanical Gardens.

Perfectly located directly on the Camino trail. Easy access to the walking path right outside the door. The historic building adds a special charm. Although friendly staff were a highlight, the room fell short with no air conditioning and outdated furnishings. The cleanliness was lacking. the floor was dusty upon arrival. The thermal spa facilities seemed inviting, but I didn’t manage to take advantage of them due to the rain. Breakfast was decent and a must for pilgrims. If you need a restful stop, this could work, but be prepared for some inconveniences.

Outdoor thermal pools were rejuvenating after hiking.

Oh, the grilled meats at Cafe Susi were out of this world! We also loved unwinding in the stunning outdoor thermal pools after a long day. Plus, our room had a gorgeous view of the river!

While we requested vegan gluten-free options for breakfast, the similar-looking gluten-free bread mix-up had us wondering.

Thermal pool experience

We enjoyed our stay with five adult kids, especially the spacious thermal pools. Exploring the beautiful gardens was a highlight for the family. After long days of sightseeing, we cherished unwinding in the hot pool, making great memories together.

In my wife’s opinion, better meal variety would be great.

Nice hotel with its spa & wellness centre, seasonal outdoor pool, and friendly bar area. On my first stay, the staff provided great local info, which I still remember. I'm definitely coming back for a weekend!
